Swisstec Welcomes Spiro Pappas as Chairperson

Swisstec Investment Holdings is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr Spiro Pappas as its new Chairperson. The appointment marks a significant milestone for Swisstec as the company accelerates its growth, particularly across the Middle East, and advances the rapid development of its Mira compliance technology platform.
A Leader with Deep Global Experience
Spiro Pappas brings an exceptional track record spanning senior executive and board roles across a wide range of industries and geographies. Most notably, he served as a Senior Executive at NAB, overseeing all international operations outside Australia and New Zealand, as well as the bank's innovation agenda.
Over the past decade, Spiro has focused on board-level leadership for pioneering companies in banking and finance, FinTech, mining, PropTech, WealthTech, online education, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and AI.
He currently serves as Chairman of Atlas Iron, local Director for Hancock Prospecting Group's joint ventures in Saudi Arabia, Chairman of ASX-listed OpenLearning Limited (ASX: OLL), and as a board member of both Football Australia and AerisTech.
Strategic Fit for Swisstec's Middle East Expansion
Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with regular travel to Australia, Mr Pappas is ideally positioned to spearhead Swisstec and Mira's expansion across the Middle East, a region of growing strategic importance for the company.
